Our Story

Technology brought them together. Katherine and Tomas’ story began like many modern-day romances - with a DM. Tomas sent the first message and Katherine was happy to oblige in this virtual courtship. They quickly realized they found in each other what they’d been searching for - someone kind, honest, supportive, and loving.

Two years later in Oahu, Hawaii, Tomas got down on one knee in the middle of the ocean and proposed. Overwhelmed with emotion and joy, Katherine wholeheartedly gave her easiest ‘yes’. 

Now they are eagerly awaiting November 2024 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic where they will vow to continue traveling through life as husband and wife.

  • When should I arrive?

    We recommend arriving at the resort on Friday, November 22nd.

  • Can I bring a guest?

    If your guest's name is listed on your invite, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

  • Can I bring my children?

    The resort is adults only and, as such, the wedding is adults only.

  • What should I wear?

    We are requesting that all of our guests dress in resort formal attire. The ceremony will be outdoors on the beach. Ladies, please take this into account when choosing footwear.

  • What colors should I avoid wearing?

    Outfits that are completely white, nude, ivory or anything remotely close are prohibited. Members of the wedding party will be wearing soft/steel blue.

  • What will the weather be like?

    The Dominican Republic can be very unpredictable! Let’s hope for perfect weather! However, please come prepared for hot, humid temperatures ranging from 90 degrees and possibly a low of 80 degrees.

  • Is there a registry?

    We understand the cost associated with attending. Because of this, we will not have a registry and would not like any gifts. All we ask is for your attendance and participation in our special day.
